Pipe Jacking/Microtunneling

Jackcontrol develops and markets systems for the optimization and quality assurance of construction methods for microtunneling and underground pipe jacking that do without the need for digging trenches. Based on the research results obtained at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, together with the firm's own current research work, various products and services are being developed, which as far as possible use existing pipe jacking equipment that ensure safe execution and quality assurance of the construction method and extend the range of application.

Hydroelectric Power Plant Construction

Jackcontrol's section dealing with the construction of hydroelectric power plants is concerned with the design of small to medium-size hydropower plants in all phases of the project, both for new construction works and for the renewal of existing power plants. In the process, client-oriented solutions are provided from the initial planning and design to handing over the plant to the client, whereby most of the technical expertise involved in the construction of hydropower plants (hydrology, flood protection, hydraulics, design of hydraulic structures, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, electro-mechanical equipment, etc.) is available within the firm.
