Compared to conventional pressure transfer ring made of wooden materials (e.g. MDF, particle board, … ), the EDAR ® is characterized by the following properties:

Beyond the construction phase, the EDAR ® offers further advantages throughout the entire service lifetime of the tunnel:
High-quality and continuous joint over the entire circumference of the pipe.
Internal joint closure with an inorganic, chemically inert material that is permanently stable even in the extreme conditions of a sewer.
In conjunction with appropriate pipe surfaces, it can be activated as an internal joint seal.
