Microtunneling Support System (MSS)
The Microtunnelling Support System MSS supports the tunnelling contractor in the execution of ongoing tunnelling work.
MSS allows centralised, automated storage and management of all data generated during tunnelling (e.g. from the TBM, survey, pipe monitoring, guidance, annular gap lubrication, etc.) and makes this data available quickly and easily in both graphical and numerical form. This allows the tunnelling contractor and the other project participants to carry out versatile and case-related evaluations and analyses of the ongoing tunneling process. MSS has been specifically developed for the needs of pipe jacking and microtunnelling (as well as similar processes such as DirectPipe ®) and is characterised by the following main features:
