JCGrout consists of injecting the annular space between the steel collar of the pipe and the Hydraulic Joint with a specific cement paste. The cement paste raises the pH value of the collar, thereby protecting the steel from corroding. At the same time, the injection ensures a significant improvement of the long-term sealing of the pipe joint.
To perform the JCGrout injections, the Compact Tunnel Rover (CT Rover), a specially designed tunnel vehicle, has been developed.
The key features of the CT Rover are:
Application range pipe diameter: DN 1200 mm to DN 3500 mm
two-man crew
autonomous (battery) operation
vehicle's own lighting
Simple and efficient handling, comfortable workplace even in tight spaces, easy to dismantle with DN 1200 mm and transportable (by sea- and air freight) in Euro pallets.
JCGrout is applicable in combination with the Hydraulic Joint or EDAR. For efficient grouting the implementation of two nozzles per pipe is strongly recommended.
